WHAT SETS US APART
With more than 12 years of façade-industry experience, including six years as a Design Manager for a window and glazing manufacturer, FDS understands how technical information is used across specification, design, fabrication and installation.
We combine practical system knowledge with clear, considered presentation to create documentation that builds confidence in your products and gives architects, specifiers and project teams a clearer pathway to use them.
WHO WILL USE THE TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION?
Technical product documentation may be used by architects, specifiers, internal technical and marketing teams, project managers, fabricators, installers, main contractors and external specification platforms.
Clear documentation helps these audiences understand product applications, limitations, performance information and installation requirements. Downloadable DWG and PDF details can also support preliminary design and project-specific detailing.
Our Process
-
1. Documentation Discovery
Complete our downloadable discovery questionnaire to help us understand your products, existing documentation, intended audiences and goals.
-
2. Documentation Audit
Following your questionnaire, we propose an audit fee. Once approved, we assess what can be reused, refreshed or created, then discuss the recommended structure with you and confirm the development scope and fee.
-
3. Documentation Development
Refresh existing material and develop new technical content, CAD details and supporting information in line with the agreed structure, scope and your branding.
-
4. Review & Handover
Review the documentation with your team, incorporate agreed feedback and obtain final approval. Issue the completed files in the agreed formats, ready for publication and use.
